How we got here
David Jensen owned and operated the Winter Haven Home Instead Senior Care franchise with his wife, Kathi, and help from their three children, for nearly five years.
During his time running the business, David noticed that the existing VoIP system that came with the business was nothing more than a traditional phone system that ran over the Internet — mostly devoid of all the potential that VoIP has to offer. David thought he could do better.
With help from other very smart people, that is exactly what he did. Office efficiency and goodwill with both clients and caregivers increased significantly. The office grew from one of the lowest performing in Florida to number three in the month it was sold.
David and his son Matthew then went to work expanding the features and functionality of the system to help other Home Instead offices access the same benefits. Their product and service have been well received. They've gone from making a difference in the lives of seniors to making a difference in the lives of those that make a difference in the lives of seniors. It all feels good.

David has varied work experience — from running a healthcare reimbursement consulting company to jointly operating a home health agency with his wife Kathi. He is a licensed building and solar contractor, and is presently focused on helping home health agencies increase their efficiency through smart communication systems.
David enjoys spending time with family and being involved in beautifying the property where they live and work on the Hiwassee River in eastern Tennessee.
Matthew Jensen
Chief Technology Officer
Matthew is a software engineer who enjoys solving problems and designing solutions. He first started working with VoIP systems in high school — after spending a summer learning the intricacies of Asterisk and other VoIP software, he designed and deployed a new phone system for his school.
When he isn't coding, he might be travelling to new countries, rock climbing, or training for a triathalon.
